Latest changes

New features, improvements, and fixes in Blank.

New featuresImprovements

Images, smaller exports, and a wider view.

Add an image to your form, give a two-page document room to breathe, and keep the finished file small enough to send.

  • Put images right on the page.

Place, drop, or paste an image into your PDF. Move, resize, crop, and rotate it before exporting.

  • Make a copy in a gesture.

Option-drag a field, checkmark, signature, or image to copy it. You can also use Command-D to duplicate selected elements, with undo for every copy.

  • Choose a smaller export.

Pick Smaller file or Smallest file compression and check the resulting size in Preview. Original quality remains the default.

  • See two pages together.

Switch to Two Pages while editing or previewing, with an optional separate cover page. Blank remembers the layout for each document.

Improvements & fixes 4
  • Better detection of labeled table cells and printed radio options, including rotated pages and small scan tilts.
  • Smoother keyboard navigation through dates and signatures, with focus kept in place after closing a picker.
  • Dragging an existing signature onto a signature field now attaches and fits it to the field.
  • Sharper signatures in Preview and more responsive editing with large images.
Release

Blank 1.0 is here.

A focused place to fill, sign, and finish your PDFs on Mac. Keep your documents close, work at your own pace, and check the result before you send it.

Open documents in separate windows or native tabs, move between them, and return to your library with your place preserved.

  • Fill forms with more control.

Choose date formats with a calendar, switch text between single and multiple lines, and edit linked fields together or separately.

  • Preview before sharing.

Check your completed PDF before exporting, with page fitting that follows the editor and a simpler export menu.

  • Keep larger documents moving.

Browse and edit PDFs with improved library scrolling, thumbnail loading, search, and draft saving. Rotate pages with undo and find your original files in Finder.

Made for the paperwork in your day.
