# Blank

> Blank is a Mac app for filling and signing PDF forms. It supports existing PDF fields, suggests fields in flat and scanned PDFs using on-device recognition, and exports a completed copy while keeping the original unchanged.

Blank requires macOS 26 or later. Documents, drafts, saved profile details, and reusable signatures stay on the Mac. No Blank account is required.

The trial includes three documents and all editing features, without a watermark or payment card. A document counts on its first successful export; repeat exports of that saved document remain available. Blank Pro is a one-time purchase for unlimited exports on two active Macs, including Blank 1.x updates. Paid use requires online activation and periodic license checks.

Signatures are visual marks, not certificate-based digital signatures. XFA forms, certificate-signed PDFs, and PDFs that restrict editing open read-only. Blank does not run embedded PDF scripts, calculations, or validation.
